I came here solo for my 40th birthday, and the stay was wonderful. If you want to treat yourself, don’t look any further.
The food was great, I had the meal package with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. The massage was excellent too. For my birthday, I ate at Fish Bar, which is the more exclusive restaurant and unfortunately not included in the meal package, but it was absolutely worth it.
Even the infinity pool was excellent, especially with the jacuzzi. The only downside is that they don’t have a beach facing the open ocean, only the enclosed lagoon beach.
The balconies are incredibly relaxing with comfortable lounge beds, and I only had a basic room. I was pleasantly surprised that my room included a bathtub as well. They also restocked bottled water in the room every day, which was a nice touch.
Please note the hotel is away from everything so the meal package comes in handy and transfers to the city are expensive. Rental car is probably worth getting if you are trying to explore the island.
