The room was clean. The hot tub was hot, but the jets were not typical so it was hard to soothe sore muscles. Also, leaves in the hot tub were not ideal. The breakfast was not free so we didn’t partake in it.

The first room smelled strongly of pet urine so i asked for a different room. They offered us another room with very wet carpets and a construction fan running to dry the carpets, I declined. After two or three more room offers (and a 12 hour drive) with wet carpets we accepted the driest carpets (with the least pet urine smell) and fell fast asleep on the comfortable beds (with clean linens.) The next morning I woke up to a throbbing headache and overloaded sinuses. We were in town for a special event, and my face was super swollen in all of the pictures because of all of the hydrated particulates I inhaled all evening long. It was by far the most disappointing hotel experience I've ever had. Next time I will check out no matter how exhausted we are, and find another hotel. We chose this hotel because of the Wyndham name, and unfortunately this one didn't live up to our expectations. Why DIY clean the carpets on a Thursday night when you're "booked up for the weekend", like the desk guy told us? Seems like a Monday night project to me...
