The room was okay at first glance, but there was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor and when I woke up in the morning (I sleep like a Tasmanian devil and pulled the base sheet up, I saw the mattress was didgustint and yellow like someone had peed on it. The mattress protector is like a medical chuck. So gross. I have pictures. Also there are signs everywhere that say no pets or smoking. The 3rd floor reeked of cigarette smoke and a couple had a dog off leash running the halls

The hotel itself was sub-average. It would've been tolerable, except the 4 half pillows on the bed were very old and beat up. It was like sleeping on a bag of potatoes. Twice we had to go to the front desk for additional pillows. The 2nd time was at 2am. The clerk was unhelpful and said no pillows were available. He offered a bath towel instead. I pushed for him to check any vacant rooms, which he first lied about and said there were no vacancies, but when I pressed the issue, he went to a room where I was able to get two crappy pillows. This seems low-level, but having bad pillows can ruin a night's sleep and impact a vacation. The furnace/AC was also very loud and woke us up throughout the night. I would avoid this place.

I was surprised by the hotel's appearance and the staff were pleasant. The hotel is clean and clutter free. The rooms are spacious with a microwave and refrigerator. The location is walkable to grocery stores, shopping, light rail station and restaurants. It is right off the Potrero exit so is very easy to find. The hotel serves coffee all day and has continental breafast. There is vending machine on every floor and laundry on the ground floor. I liked staying here so I extended my stay for another three days
