Make sure you ask for a detailed inventory upon check-in and check out. The owner requested full payment of the damage deposit to pay for alleged broken shutters- we had no idea about but a repair was invoiced on the day we left and it was assumed we were responsible for the damage, when we were not. The owner did not engage with us directly with us over this.Owner complained also of 4 broken cheap kitchen glasses and requested payment for these.So, on the whole, the process was not transparent and a highly stressful experience after leaving.
