Great location relative to restaurants and the beach but very sketchy neighborhood. Room desperately in need of updating. No hair dryer, broken coffee maker, no coffee provided, only luke warm shower. Noisy due to entertainment in dining room. Staff kind but often inattentive.

Staff were awesome. The hotel lobby and pool area were very nice and looked very clean and in good condition. However we were shocked when we got our room. The rooms had no windows to the outside. It looked like it had been stripped of everything - the kitchen had everything removed (looked like it used to have stove, dishwasher and cupboards) and only had a small fridge and microwave with a few cups and silverware, and two bowls. No plates, knives or any way to wash the dishes. No lamps on the bedside tables. The sheets, towels and pillows were very dingy, thin and yellowed. Electrical switches were hanging out of the wall. And to top it off, we found two cockroaches in the room - one crawling across the bed so we checked out a day early. They also played music very loudly in the restaurant till almost 10:00 so we couldn’t get baby to sleep.

Convenient location close to the beach and restaurants in a safe area. The swimming pool area is nice and clean. They had entertainment at nights (open mic, latin dance class). The room was spacious and clean (some bugs are to be expected). The bedsheets and towels are a bit old. The main problem was the noise from people opening and closing doors, cabinets, walking and talking in the hallway not only by guest but by the hotel staff.

Enjoyed our one night stay so much the day we landed that I booked two more nights at the end of our trip. Very convenient to LIR airport if you arrive in the evening and want to drive somewhere close with good roads. Service was great and free breakfast was a nice touch! Best pool tables in town.

All spaces, rooms, restaurant, interior, exterior, and grounds extraordinarily clean. Even the chrome condiment containers were wiped clean every use. Without exception friendly helpful staff. Eager to help. Anticipating customer needs. You were missing an opportunity if you don't book your stay at the Palms at La Playa Coco. It also includes cooked fresh free breakfast. On-site restaurant is above average and one of the top choices in town. Beds were comfortable.

Unfortunately, we stayed there on a Thursday night which was open mic night. I wish this had been disclosed in the booking. We were tired from our flight and the music was ridiculously loud. There were about 10 people at the bar and they had the amps maxed. Our room was vibrating until 10 pm. So unpleasant. And the staff did not seem to care or offer any help. The rooms are also very bare bones and dirty. Even the walls were notably dirty. And no hot water in the shower. An awful start to our trip. The location is good and breakfast too.

Great hotel in coco. The room was clean and well stocked. They have a convenience store in the lobby to buy anything you need. On site is a restaurant and bar. The pool is amazing and clean. You can literally stay at the resort and cover all the bases. Parking is just outside the facility and is free. A short walk (<2 mins) from the hotel you are in the main city for bars and fun, also the beach. The staff here is multilingual and very friendly. I highly recommend staying here. I know I’ll be back
