Unfortunately, the room did not reflect the standard presented online. It felt cold and poorly maintained, with visible wear and cleanliness concerns that were disappointing at £89 per night. After requesting a room change and finding similar issues, I chose to check out and book nearby alternative accommodation. There were several maintenance concerns, including damaged walls, carpets secured with tape, and a bathroom that did not appear properly cleaned, with stained towels left hanging. The overall condition fell short of what I would reasonably expect at this price point. This was particularly disappointing given that my experiences at other Greene King locations have been very positive. On this occasion, however, the standard did not meet expectations.

The room was spacious and well equipped with plenty of storage space to store cases and hang clothes. Bed was great, 2 singles secured together so loads of room. Lovely food and friendly helpful staff made it a lovely break to meet up with my family.Would definitely stay again.

Terrible stay.. never again! The rooms were smelly, (first thing we did was go and buy some Fabreeze!) The floor mat at the front door of the room was gaffa taped down! The bathroom smelt like sewage!! We could hear the person in the adjoining room coughing all night as if in our room and there was a fan noise droning all night from the next room which turned out to be a pump room!! To top it all we waited 45 minutes for breakfast after we ordered!!

Room was great. There was plenty of room to hang clothes (was like a walk in). Room was lovely and warm. Quiet. Great to have the pub linked to the rooms - weather was awful so it was really handy. Will definitely stay again.
