We have stayed here previously for a festival and found the food really tasty with incredibly generous portions, lovely friendly staff and nice rooms for a great price which was the reason we chose again this year. Unfortunately, we are not sure if we can stay again next year as hoped as the price has jumped up by almost £100 for the same weekend.

Room was recently refurbished and very clean. The bed was comfortable but the room was quite hot on our first night, with no Aircon or fan to cool it down. The hotel communal areas are a little dated but clean. The staff were great and breakfast is a nice addition. Location is also great, just a few mins from the M42.

Cosy Clean Hotel

The room was spacious and clean, with a double bed, tv, wardrobe, chair, hair dryer, iron and kettle. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The shower wasn't amazing, the pressure was lacking and the temperature was constantly changing. Unfortunately we were in the room above the kitchen, so had the noise from that, but it was soon tuned out. Wifi connection was good for browsing and watching streaming services. The staff that we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ordered and served quickly, with a selection of hot and cold drinks and cereals available. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we come back to the area!

We attended the Appleby Inn for our daughters wedding, because of this we arrived and left at unsociable hours. The instructions for doing this was made very clear. All of the staff went the extra mile to accommodate us and really made us feel nothing was too much trouble. We also dined in the restaurant and the food was very filling and very tasty. The whole experience was great service and a great price, Thank you.

We went as a family group using 2 room, i famoly room and 1 accessable both were really lovely with comfortable beds spotlessly clean. The accesssa room was particularly good. Which was outside with disabled parking outside the door and tge bathroom was lovely not at all clinicle looking. The breakfast was of really good quality and cooked perfectly. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Only light and ventilation was a tiny window at the end of a corridor made by the en suite, the room had no decoration so with the lack of light resembled a cell. It was extremely clean however and breakfast was really good.
