This is the first time we had a hotel not honor our expedia booking. Rolled in after hours on the road to find that despite having a confirmation number no room was avaliable. So frustrating

The gps photos ahead of time showed that there was a lot connecting to it from next door for semis. Unfortunately it wasn't updated to show the large concrete barriers that blocked certain areas so it was a bit difficult to maneuver in and the trolley wheel busted off after using, it was pouring rain when we left so it was a haul to bring luggage to the vehicle. Dust on the lamp shades and bulbs by the bed, I cleaned off the bulbs. Other than that the room was pretty good. Pool wasn't open even though the hours should have been able to but key card didn't work on it. Staff was great and very friendly.

I enjoyed the convenience and my room. The bed was not comfortable (dipped in the middle and very soft). The shower was very difficult to turn on and off. I would visit this hotel again.

The pool was larger than the pool in the 2 other hotels we stayed at on this vacation. It was clean, and the staff were great about bringing more towels to the pool area. It had a very laid back feel. Families were playing card games in the dining lounge in the evening, multiple families at the pool, with kids playing games in the water. It was a nice chill evening after a long day of driving.

Staff was rude at check in. We discovered the shower didn’t work in the morning but had to leave. Informed staff on our way out and was rudely told specifics of how to operate a simple faucet. I told her we had done so but decided just not worth further conversation, said we needed to go & left. Also observed staff being rude to another guest with safety concerns in the parking lot.

They should not claim a workout facility. Four dumbbells on the each with four different weights. An old treadmill and bike, and some weird contraption that was unusable/slightly dangerous. Room was clean and quiet. So many nicer and improved Best Western’s I’ve visited over the last four years but this one fell way short of the mark. Breakfast was also rough with a non-functional pancake maker.

We will not return!! The non-smoking room reeked of smoke, as did the hallways. They came to spray the room, however it didn’t help. Unfortunately, smoke triggers migraines for me. The bathroom was scary and very old. I did not let any family member take a shower in there. The toilet wouldn’t flush on anyone’s first try. Then, when it did flush it was loud and jarring. It could be heard in the main room. We were told this flush was because “it was a handicapped room and wanted to make sure to get everything.” This statement is incorrect, insensitive, and uninformed. The chair had two stains on it. We didn’t sit there. We slept in fully clothed, rather than changing into night clothes. It seems more sanitary to do this. If we could’ve cancelled the reservation and moved to another brand, we would’ve in a heartbeat. The only thing that was acceptable was the check in/check out, etc. with lady at the front desk. I asked about having an adjustment to our bill. They removed $10. It was a horrible 12 hours.
