The hotel was good but a little dated. The area around the hotel felt a little unsafe as there was a crime scene around the corner from the hotel, but I think that’s just Cleveland. The staff was friendly. Not a bad stay.

We appreciated the location and convenience to other attractions. But before we booked the reservations, we had called about parking. We both were traveling on motorcycles and knew that valet could not park our motorcycles so we asked if they had available self parking. They said yes. So we booked the reservations. When we arrived, we found out differently. We had to go around the corner to public garage parking and carry all of our equipment and luggage to the hotel. The valet service personnel were very rude to us when we expressed our dissatisfaction as we realized we had to park around the corner upon arrival. All other personnel inside the hotel were very nice. But if we ever ride to Cleveland again, we will not being staying at this hotel - we will find something with self parking.

Old hotel

They do the cleaning every 3 days, so you need to use the same towels for 3 days unless you called beg for clean ones. Carpets are sort of old and dirty. Bfast was extremely poor, never had it, ate next door.

The Crown Plaza Cleveland property is in need of a lot of upgrades. Our room came with a tub in which I was aware of. However, a shower would have been ideal and more modern. The carpet was dark and dingy looking. There was a horrible ordor in the lobby. May have been sewer, I'm not sure but thank God it wasn't in our room. It's average for someone looking for somewhere to just lay their head for a couple of nights. Nothing special. The breakfast was good. I wish they would have changed it up every now and then because I was tired of eating the same thing. Workers were courteous and helpful. Location was great for where I needed to go in the area. Probably won't return though.

This was my first time staying at the crown plaza. My stay was excellent. The location is great convenient walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The staff were great. My trip was almost perfect until my car arrived at check out time from valet in which it had been damaged. The hotel did its part by taking care of my valet charges and the valet manager failed the necessary paperwork for insurance and investigation to find out what happened to my car. Other than this mishap my stay at the crown plaza was great and I will be back to stay again.
