Four Priory Road, Chichester - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
Four Priory Road is a pretty, tucked away cottage in the heart of Chichester city centre. The cottage is filled with attractive modern furnishings whilst still retaining its comfortable cottage feel.
Hidden from the bustle of the city you will be just a stone's throw from the main high street. The town offers excellent shopping with interesting boutiques and antique shops together with the main high street shopping you would expect in a larger town. There is a good mix of quirky restaurants and cafes of a high quality and many pubs and bars you can enjoy.
Chichester Cathedral is only minutes away on West Street. You can browse the cathedral and grounds including the beautifully maintained Bishop Gardens.
Chichester train station is within easy walking distance with a direct line to London Victoria running regularly throughout the day. Goodwood also runs a bus direct from the station to Festival of Speed and Revival Festival. Goodwood itself is only 5 – 10 minutes by car if driving.
Walking through the front door into a cosy seating area and through to the kitchen/ dining area with everything you will need to self-cater for your stay. Down a small step you will find the sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating for guests, smart TV & Alexa to enjoy during your stay. Four Priory has a beautiful courtyard garden; we are very proud of this as it's not often you find a garden in a home within the city walls.
The garden can be access via bi fold doors from the dining room or french doors in the living room. The cottage garden boasts two seating areas and beautiful raised flowers beds giving the quintessential English garden feel. The garden is dotted with solar lights so you can sit outside on a warm evening with a glass of wine and enjoy the ambience. The owner also provides a picnic hamper and brollies should you like to take a picnic to Priory Park just across the road.
Upstairs there are two beautifully furnished double bedrooms (one includes a safe for personal items) and a bathroom with free standing bath and separate shower cubicle. Make sure to stop and browse the books at the top of the stairs. The hosts have sourced many local books which give you information about the area and local attractions. Our personal favourite is the ghost tour spots around Chichester! Its fun to read through and spot the locations as you travel around the city.
Four Priory has a separate WC on the ground floor.
There is parking available for one car at the pay and display car park but is free and is within easy walking distance (guests need to provide us with registration plate details at the time of booking for this to be arranged).
No children under 12 years old.

A very nice holiday
We stayed at the accommodation for six days. After hectic days in London, it was a very nice place to relax. The accommodation is very clean and beautifully furnished. Nothing was missing. A supermarket is nearby. The accommodation is ideal for trips to the Isle of Wight and West Dean Garden. The accommodation is highly recommended.

4, Priory Close, where everything was thought of.
We had a smashing stay. Well equipped ,good quality furnishings and fitments. Comfy beds and pillows .Central location. The owner left us chocolate and wine, very kind of them.Place was spotless with attention to detail that far suppassed any where else we have stayed in before.Only negative thing was the living room couch and chairs, which where not very comfortable and on the low side too.Would definitely recommend this property.

Delightful house in a great location
The house is in a very convenient but quiet position in the centre of town and next to a beautiful park. It has recently been refurbished very attractively and is warm, comfortable and well- equipped with a pretty garden. We recommend it highly. The only slight disadvantage is that it has no allocated parking.
