The family hosting us were extremely responsive and hospitable. I would recommend this for any family looking for a quiet farm stay experience! We took bikes along and there’s a back gate with access to the main bicycle trail from the farm. That was helpful as it let us access Ladysmith, Saltair and Chemainus.

A lovely family owns this small farm and recreation trailer. The property has dwarf goats and an orchard. Come at the right time of year and you can pick apples! The trailer is older but very clean; we loved the veranda and outdoor area with lights and a lantern. If you are looking for an alternative to being cooped up in a hotel room, this is a good option. It would be fantastic for children as they can run around the property. The only down side is the three dogs that are very vocal and up against the fence when you come in. They made me a bit nervous - I found myself checking to make sure the wire fence looked study enough to hold them - and I'm a dog lover.

Great people, very welcoming and helpfull. However VRBO's advertising was completely misleading, I expected to pay $110. per night as advertised on the website and was charged a total of $700, I will never use VRBO again, nor will I recommend it to anyone, and will warn others about this situation,

Great place, great people. Safe and quiet. Some goats, chickens and ducks to see and feed. Deer and lots of rabbits. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
