Our room was adjacent to the hotel’s laundry room for hotel use. The noise of machine lasted past midnight and started up around 4:00 am. That room should not be used because of the outrageous noise. When we told staff about the noise their response was that they acknowledged the noise and said nothing can be done. I asked why the room was used if the hotel wasn’t full and they had no answer. Their laundry area for guests didn’t provide the ability to purchase laundry soap.

Room was clean and looked new or refurbished. Only complaint was the location near an outside door that closed loudly every time it was accessed.

Great Getaway Weekend

Our group had an excellent stay at the Microtel in Plattsburgh on our annual golf weekend. The check in went smoothly and the hotel was clean and accessible. We have stayed in many hotels in Plattsburgh and this has been the most pleasant stay to date. The one downside is that the continental breakfast does not have much to offer. Our group has already said it wants to stay here next year.
