The tv did not work in the first room but the desk agent was lovely and moved us to another room immediately . The room was large but we had to kill a number of flies and Asian ladybugs in the room which were hanging out on the ceiling, in the entry light fixture and above the doors. I’m sure if we had brought it to the desk staff attention they would have moved us but we had already changed rooms once so we didn’t want to bother the staff again . The room was large and very quiet though and well air conditioned , the bathroom was large and clean . The breakfast was standard , no plates though , only small bowls so my breakfast of bacon and eggs and toast required 3 separate bowls which I found very strange . The dining area was a good size and very comfortable though. I travel a lot and if I compare with other hotels , it was an average but adequate hotel .

We had a great time. Room was spotless and staff were nice. This is our second family trip here for several nights. We will likely be back a third time in the future.

Plattsburg was central to all the areas i traveled to for hiking and waterfalls. One really unexpected waterfall, Highfalls, it was a great little hike no really far but the falls were accessible.

The hotel was clean, walking in and the air conditioning system didn’t seem to work in the lobby and eating area, it was a little uncomfortable to enjoy breakfast. Good thing the air was working in the bedroom. Besides that a great stay.
