Different type of hotel, without a TV or coffee in the rooms, but it was fine with us to have a more versatile machine in the main lounge and being close to the action. The staff were extremely nice. Johanna was extremely nice as well as the other staff. Loved being near the action with the Street Fest, the Dali shows and the Tivoli cinema. Had an excellent night singing with the piano players after dancing in the streets at the festival. Maybe not the best for might sleepers, but definitely worth it for being close to downtown Charlettetown. Rooms are clean and a reasonably priced. I actually paid more for worn down rooms in chain Hotels. I'd definitely go there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Arts Hotel when I was in Charlottetown. It's a small but nice hotel and is in the center of downtown. It is no more then a 15 min walk to Confederation landing, and the founders food Hall and market. The staff were super friendly and were willing to answer all the questions I had about the island, and getting around. I spent some time in the lounge on the second floor and it was always quiet in there. The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a decent size bathroom. My only complaint would be the pillows were a bit too soft for me, as I am used to firmer pillows. When I come back to PEI in the future I would definitely stay at the Arts Hotel again. I would also recommend this place to others who seek a more minimalistic hotel and who want a peaceful vacation.
