The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. The location is great- walking distance to downtown. I loved the lounge area. The breakfast was an upscale continental which included quiche and overnight oats. I also enjoyed the complimentary drink in the lounge in the evening. I would stay there again when in Charlottetown.

Recently stayed at The Great George Hotel and the hotel is a gem in the city of Charlottetown. The hotel is perfectly located and walkable to many attractions, restaurants and bars in the city. The location could not have been better! The hotel offers free breakfast and a happy hour complimentary drinks in the evening which are nice touches. Free cookies at reception are a little plus as well. Our room was connected to the main building but had an entrance from the outside. If visiting in the cold months it might be something to consider to ask for a main building, access to the lobby room. The one downside was the parking. There is parking but the main parking lot fills up early in the evening. If you plan to come back to the hotel later at night be prepared to have no parking. We had to inquire with the front desk and park elsewhere further away which was not ideal and took time to find out where else we could park.
