Great staff who tried hard to sort our room as the one reserved had a maintenance issue. Upgraded room however didn’t get to stay in main hotel building as intended and only had a queen bed. But the staff were gracious and helpful. Morning breakfasts were quite exceptional. Would stay here again. You can’t beat the location in heart of a walkable downtown.

First time at the hotel and it won't be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wow. Loved this place. Historic boutique hotel that owns the old houses around it. Stayed on upper floor of one house and had our own deck with a view of nice hotel gardens and the spires of Dunstan Basilica. Close walking distance to the harbour, restaurants and other sites
