Unfortunately, there were a few issues that I encountered on my stay.
First, the wi-fi router did not worked sparingly in my room, so much so where I needed to be switched to another room. Secondly, there was a strange odor in the hallway on the 3rd floor as I approached my room.
Next, after I was moved to a different room, while the wi-fi worked slightly better, the ceiling in the bathroom had water damage and had beginning signs of mold to show up. This was very problematic, especially for those that may have respiratory issues.
Finally, only days after checkout did I realize that I was overcharged for the room. I initially paid for the room via hotels.com, yet I was charged again by Doubletree. All in all, this was not one of my best experiences.
While the customer service was above average, the condition of the property can and will end up being a liability if they don't fix things up soon.
