We had to change our stay from 3 nites to 2. Because we had booked through expedia, we had to edit reservation through that site also. Much to our misfortune, expedia would not simply cancel one night without charging us the check in date prices. Consequently instead of the 109.00 per night we were given at time of reservation, we were charged 150/night. Of course we could not just get a full refund for one night. That would be too easy.When we reserved the room back in Feb we requested a room close to our friends. At check in, our room a.c. did not work, we had only one tissue in the box, and bathroom vanity shelf was very dusty. When we let the registration desk know the next morning, the gal said our room was not to be used anyway!!! So who screwed that up?? We were given a different room but a different floor than our friends. That was minor. At breakfast, the mini muffins were hard, stale, and dry like they'd been left out for days and also the brown sugar was in solid hard balls and stuck to the hardened brn sugar in bottom of the container. Also, the milk pitcher was labeled 2% but clearly skim, like putting bluish water in my oatmeal. It could have potentially been watered down to conserve milk supply . All in all, not a good experience from both expedia and Hampton Inn Middlebury Ind. Neither one will be used by us for a long long time if ever again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a hot breakfast, different both days of our stay. Staff in the breakfast area was very nice, and very attentive to the food and cleaning the tables. Room was very nice, spacious, and clean.

I would not stay here again.

There were bugs in the bathroom. I will report it to the front desk. They put us across from the pool. I was grossed out and on edge the whole time because of the bugs. And by bugs I mean centipedes. The hotel is dated. The rooms were not the cleanest. I definitely expect better. Breakfast was a joke!! Sausage gravy and potatoes. No eggs. No sausage. Coffee, not good, tasted like watered down. The only good thing was the waffle I made myself.

Disappointed in handicap room as requested. Bathtub slippery without safety strips in tub, one safety hand bar, low toilet without hand bars, making it difficult to use. Slippery tiles in bathroom. This should not be considered a handicap friendly room. When expressed my views to front desk person he didn’t seem to care. Not the usual good Hampton Inn stay.

First impression as you pull up, hotel is showing its age. Outside dirty. Check in was easy. Only one elevator, which is slow. Room was okay. AC didn’t work in our room, went to desk around 9:30 PM and they upgraded us to a queen suite free of charge. Room was better, just not as clean. Window had happy written on it with blood. Pool definitely showing its ago. Need to update furniture in pool. Only positive was beds were comfy. This hotel wouldn’t be top of my list to stay at again.

This Hampton Inn was a nice facility. The staff was very friendly. The area is close to shopping and great dining. It’s located in a well lit, safe area. It was a nice place to stay at a good price.

Paid for a spa in the room. The room did have that. However, the room smelled like sewer gas. I complained about this issue. The personal at the desk said they have a lot of complaints about the room.. They said sorry. So we will never go back. It was to be special for it was our wedding night.
