The staff were really nice and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel was clean overall and room was spacious. We loved the amenities including the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and fire pits.

We loved the newness of the resort, the room was quiet and modern, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great, but we were disappointed to not have a bathtub as we specifically booked a room that said it had a shower/bathtub combo. I called the front desk about it and they said there was nothing they could do as all their rooms with bathtubs were taken and she ‘might call me back later,’ which I thought meant they might offer us something like a discount at one of their restaurants or something to show they cared that we were disappointed. But she didn’t call back and that was that. So we were a bit disappointed as we felt misled by the booking. We did enjoy the outdoor amenities, such as the giant chess board, and the lounge chairs outside from the pool. We enjoyed sharing some appies at the Velocity Lounge but would love to see more vegetarian options at the main restaurant. Over all we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to those looking for a quiet place to stay in Campbell River.

Excellent hotel with very friendly accommodating staff. Comfortable beds. Great restaurant and a very nice golf course. The only negative I’d mention is for a new hotel, the elevators are ridiculously slow.

Our car had broke down on our island trip and we needed a hotel for the night. We picked this one because of the pool and it ended up being even more amazing. Great staff. Lots of dining options and they got us in early so we weren’t stranded as we had no vehicle. They were very accommodating with the situation we were in. The food at Crave was amazing. The outdoor facilities were beautiful.

What a hidden gem. If anyone is thinking of heading to Campbell River, take a couple of extra days to ensure you enjoy the golf course and spa. This resort over delivers on value!
