Great location, staff were nice and helpful. Hot tub was "broken" and one of the reasons I chose hotel. I suspect the business has no interest in fixing it, becauw it costs $$ to operate. For $300+ a night, this "hotel" is definitely not worth it.

Rooms are reasonably updated and very comfortable with unbeatable views of the water. The included breakfast is sufficient, the restaurant is very nice and service fantastic. The hotel itself is well-located, the buildings are definitely showing signs of age, however. I would stay again, as the location is great if passing through Campbell River, and the price is right.

The 'complimentary' breakfast was not good. Hotel is in two sections, it's a bit confusing getting from one section to the other. Unfortunately our room (2nd floor) was under the ballroom and there was a wedding, the music and dancing was loud, so if you are booking here call the hotel to confirm your room. Wasn't worth the $100+ a night more compared to the other hotels in the same area.

The property overlooks the ocean. Our room was the last one on the ground floor (on the right side) and the view was obscured by a shed and a big blue trash can which was annoying. The room was clean and tidy. The room required a chair. Breakfast had variety and one of the staff members (at the breakfast) was very friendly.

Location and view were beautiful and our room was in good condition although the exterior of the property (balcony) are showing some age. Our only issue with our stay was our complimentary breakfast. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast from 7-10am through their hotel as a buffet style in addition to a la carte for those who want to order/pay for a different meal. On our first morning the buffet breakfast at 9:30 was simple but good (eggs, pancakes, amazing homefries, toast, cereal and juice). Adding a fruit would have been great. The second day the breakfast was non-existent as of 9:30 and they didn’t seem to have any intention of restocking any of the food items. Many people stood and waited but nothing else was added.

Included breakfast was very poor, no fruit, no meat, you paid extra for bacon and sausage, cereal was highly processed, no granola or muesli, bed was hard and terrible pillows, this was also not a cheap hotel to stay at, I would not stay here again, best was the view but most hotels in town have great views
