Staff was responsive to my complaints but hotel is old and run down. Smelled of old smoke. Pull out couch had a dirty old sheet on it. Hair all over bathroom floor. Gum stuck on sign outside of elevator on 11th floor.

Walking distance to the Calgary Stampede

The rooms have been remodeled and were nice and spacious. The outside of the building looks pretty dated but our room was nice. Pricey because of the Calgary Stampede

The hotel was undergoing renovations at the time of my visit which made me not enjoy my stay very much. My booking on Expedia gave me a quote in USD but upon getting to Canada, the hotel staff used some different conversion in Canadian dollars which put my bill at over $300 more.
