Disappointed with cleanliness, but breakfast and p

We checked in around 10 PM, and unfortunately, the bathroom was not properly cleaned. It looked like the previous guest had dumped food into the toilet — some kind of grains were stuck inside. Normally, I would have requested a room change, but my 7- and 5-year-old kids had fallen asleep on the way to the hotel, so I just put them to bed right away. Also, there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, and I had to call the front desk to request some. On the bright side, the breakfast was quite varied and enjoyable, and the pool was a nice bonus for the kids.

Ok but several little things spoiled it

Nice hotel. Had to report a small toilet leak that had obviously been leaking for quite some time . It was promptly repaired. Room supposed to be refreshed "every other " day, 3 day stay not done. Ran out of breakfast eggs. Wanted 2 rooms run on same CC transaction, couldn't/wouldn't do it. Two identical transactions generated a denial and fraud alert on card.

I was very happy with the room, the friendliness and consideration of Craig at the front desk. He was so kind and helpful, the breakfast in the morning was outstanding, always hot and fresh.
