I was disappointed in my “DoubleTree” hotel stay, as I expected DoubleTree (luxury) accommodations ($400/night.) As we drove up to the entrance, this appeared to be a hotel more in line with Fairfield or Hampton Inns, with a lot of construction going on. There is nothing wrong with these other hotels as I have stayed there in the past, but this stay was ending my 30th wedding anniversary trip and was not up to the DoubleTree standard as I have stayed at in other locations. The rooms were clean, the lobby was nice, staff was nice; just far below my expectations at a hefty price tag.

Bathroom was in terrible condition, the hotel is outdated and we had an old room. Which is understandable, but the tiles were all covered by a black mold looking substance. Could have been cleaned at least.
