The location is great. If you’re in the left wing it’s a haulllll from the from the lobby. Housekeeping only comes every other day, there’s no safes in any of the rooms, it took 5 unanswered calls to the front desk to find this out. $385 a night was a bit much but in line with the other 2 hotels in the city. I think I’ll try the others next time.

There was a lot of construction going on at the hotel when we visited for an admitted students day at UVM. They also only had valet parking, which was a little inconvenient. The rooms were nice and the staff was helpful. Great location in between UVM and the lake and walkable to Church Street. There was a lot of construction downtown in general so it was a little confusing getting there.

We have stayed several times and always love this location. The staff is exemplary: kind, polite and helpful. However, the food was terrible; our curtains wouldn't close all the way (which they did fix promptly); and the towels are thin and scratchy. Also, due to construction we couldn't find the alternate way to enter the hotel. I called and was given directions, but there was no signage to assist.
