I normally stay at Marriott properties only so perhaps I am a little biased. The hotel is in a great location on the Buda side. Sidenote, if you’re looking more of for an active area with bars and clubs, you should probably stay on the Pest side. The staff are not very friendly and seemed indifferent. Perhaps they just have a slight disdain for Americans… I am not sure. I have also ever stayed at a hotel where they did not have free coffee for the guests. I normally do not eat breakfast so just was looking for a cup of coffee. They wanted me to pay €18 just to go into the restaurant to get a cup of coffee. The breakfast actually looked pretty good but not worth €18. The rooms were air-conditioned, but it was not able to keep up with the heat. I am not a big fan of sweating while asleep but did on this trip. Decent hotel but if you were looking for great service or luxury, keep on scrolling.

The customer service was really poor ..!! Cleanliness in the washroom was not good too ..!! Room Air conditioning was not working, even after complaining. Nothing was done about it. So our family has to sleep in the warm rooms in the hot weather.

Lovely hotel, lovely location, lovely staff, lovely breakfast , we had a suite and it was massive with fantastic views of the Danube , bathroom was clean, everything you need is included in your room eg hair dryers , iron,sewing kit ect the only thing that I feel let it down slightly was the carpets in the room could do with a clean in ours it looked like someone has spiked coffee all on the carpet and down the walls so it was a bit stained but other than that a comfortable room

The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the choice of food in the breakfast room was wide and generally very tasty. At this time of year, I also appreciated the cold water dispencer in the lobby – essential! The room was clean enough — certainly not unclean — but some of the surfaces were a little dusty (e.g. top shelves of the wardrobes, the surface of the little coffee table, and the window ledges). Not a big deal, but it did make me think that perhaps the rooms were not thorougyly cleaned even between stays. A tiny detail in what is, otherwise, an excellent hotel.

Location is excellent beautiful surroundings. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Room was nice and clean however they need to improve on replenishment of paper products in bathroom.
