The property was nice and well kept. The front desk personnel could have been more welcoming and friendly. I did not feel a welcoming spirit when we checked in. The amenities mentioned a buffet breakfast. Far from buffet. Gravy & biscuits, eggs (not real) and sausage. A smal variety of pastries and toast, yogurt, fruit.

When we checked to see if we could check in early the gal at desk was so rude. When we did finally check in that gal was great. I also asked for a late check out and the gal said no problem then when checked out a little late the gal that was there mornings was rude again…

Our stay here was really nice! Clean and comfortable facility with friendly staff! Really close to the downtown not as easy to walk to town from hotel but we also came during a colder season. Would probably stay again!

Very easy to get to after the concert at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center. --- Breakfast was normal for continental breakfast style. Floors in our room needed a good deep mopping otherwise the rest of the room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Indoor pool looked nice but we didnt use it due to our schedule. We love Shipshewana.
