A charming hotel that is centrally located. A good variety of food products at breakfast. The service from the waiting team is fantastic. We stayed in the Executive King room. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely shower and had good quality towels. People on the Reception desk were very helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage with them before we departed. Self check in and check out was easy and straightforward. Would return to the Clayton Hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, the staff a friendly. The room could have been cleaner and there were some stains on the bed toppers. The shower was intermittently only a trickle (8am so busy times) but I did not have this issue on a previous visit. I will visit one more time before deciding final verdict.

The breakfast was terrible. Not worth the money. Go get breakfast somewhere else. I think the staff can use some training and probably a bit more structure to how to take orders, track tables and a bit more options for breakfast would help. Rooms are clean. Bare bone.

Really uncomfortable night. Pillows were too firm and deep. Asked for a softer pillow but apparently they are not available. Room was too warm for me to sleep and it wasn't possible to lower it to a more comfortable temperature. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

It's OK. The room was large but the double bed was tiny. There were minimal amenities ... Rubbish coffee, no spoons, no conditioner, no hairdryer, no fridge. So not 4*. 3.5*stars really - a slight upgrade on a Premier Inn.

Mediocre hotel. Electronics in the room made fuse switch go...putting kettle on while watching tv made both go off...when reported, was known issue - then fix it for good! Bathroom sink slow to drain, said this had been sorted, but it still happened - all in a "deluxe room"! Reception staff seemed indifferent.. Hot buffet breakfast was lukewarm at best, causing a toilet visit, if you know what i mean.. We won't be back
