An awful experience- we called ahead to say we would be checking in late and the receptionist confirmed that would be okay as the Night Porter would check us in on arrival. However, we arrived and waited outside the gate for 40 minutes for the night porter who never answered the bell. We called the phoneline countless times and no answer. It was 11pm and very cold. No offer of a refund and the hotel didn’t return our voicemails. Poor customer service and we would like our money back.

I always choose to stay here when in Bristol. The staff are lovely and it feels very cosy and inviting. Bed is comfortable, toiletries and tea/coffee always well-stocked. One day I’ll try breakfast - it always looks and smells great! And love the honesty bar. Well-stocked and much needed when I arrived wet and tired at 11.45pm on Sunday night!
