If you’re looking for something with character, this is the Hotel for you book a king room with a view across to the pier and the water. The rooms are very spacious… and breakfast was included. It was an excellent breakfast. Order off the menu plus Continental selections as well. I would like to take the time to thank AJ he made my stay fantastic, really friendly and took the time to have a chat with you. Also, I would love to highlight that I left my passport and credit card in one of the drawers, I spoke with AJ before leaving letting him know where I was heading in Torquay. He rang ahead and left a message for me and secured my passport and credit card. I can’t thank him enough for being so caring and understanding. Highly recommend you stay here.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had asked if all 4 rooms could be ready before 3 as we had an event to attend, and were told they would try to get at least 1 done. As it turns out all 4 were ready which was great. Room were comfy with good amenities

Dinner was excellent, both food and service. Bed was comfortable and everywhere was clean. The only thing that let it down a little was a very ordinary continental breakfast, with cereal packets, choice of onlygrapefruit and prunes for fruit and only croissant and toast offered.

Room was clean and spacious. I got the signature room with great view of the pier and ocean. Bed mattress could be replaced as it was quite hard and springy. Had a really good full english breakfast which was included with my online purchase. Would stay again if they upgrade mattress.

After reading the reviews I was a little surprised, the hotel has a dated feel about it and although the breakfast was free, a new thermos of coffee arrived and it was cold. Certainly would not pay that amount again, Nearby parking that was recommended as secure wa £22.50 for less than 24 hours!

The room was presented well, perfect for an overnight stay. Tv, mirror, comfortable bed and breakfast included - didn't have as woke up too late. However I disliked the bathroom - the hot water tap was extremely hot and kept dripping even when turned off. The shower I hated, small and narrow - the doors came off when trying to come out the shower. Only a overhead shower from the ceiling, no handheld shower so water was peristently crashing down onto my head, felt like I was drowning - awful!

I've stayed here often. The rooms are all individual which gives the place a certain quirkiness. Thw staff are fantastic, they always at hand and can never do enough for you.
