It was all fine except no on site housekeeping and didn’t get any clean towels or service the full 4 night stay. No response after asking and no call back from management after a week and several calls. Disappointing.

Check in process is set up for the convenience of the hotel! Not it’s customers! Consistently marketed by emailto upgrade our room while not answering a simple phone call. No window darkening shades (as I need them to sleep). At 8:01pm received an email welcoming to the property and any comments and concerns can be addressed between the hours of 9 am and 8 pm. Amazingly ironic the email came in 8:01pm(did you catch that), This property is all about no personal contact! Although, that might be fine for some. We can’t recommend this place!!!

We had miscommunication about the self check-in process; Beverly asked for email and didn't send any email. Room was very clean, but old fixtures in bathroom had a smell. Our ceilings were thin; we constantly heard upstairs neighbor. TV was so dark even on brightest setting it was unwatchable

Thisnis a receptionless hotel. Rose who i spoke to on the phone was amazing and managed to sort out an issue btwn hotel.com and expedia for my email address. The hotel was nice. The room was clean, the bed was a little hard. I couldnt hear any of the other guests which was a bonus and the air con worked a treat. But you cant close the curtains as they are screwed in place.

Great in between location if your visiting multiple spots in the New England area, we visited Salem and also Boston the train station is right across the street. It’s very easy to get around. The room was nice semi quiet, convenient location to a few different restaurants in a couple of coffee shops and then also the grocery store if you need to get food or other supplies.

With no human on-site check in was challenging. Walked into suite and it overwhelmingly smelled like cat pee. Again no one on-site to manage. This is a road-side motel that charges a price point that would suggest it's a higher quality. Windows didn't work properly, cigarette burns in the bathroom countertop, the door look liked it had been kicked in and repaired but never painted.

Great Location

Our stay was such a pleasant experience. My friend and I came to visit Salem. The hotel was a little less expensive, and it suited our needs perfectly. Since there is no reception, everything is conducted online. Once we had the room code, checking in was simple. The room was really nice. We stayed in one of the basement apartments. It was clean and had everything we needed. There was a sheet of paper with instructions for anything you might need, supply closet, laundry, contact information etc. There's a train station right across the street from the hotel (as well as restaurant, grocery store, and liquor store). The train comes about once an hour everyday so it was easy for us to come and go as we needed.
