The room was spacious and seemed generally clean, but another guest warned me in the hallway when I arrived to check my adjoining room door lock, which didn't work, because he was moved to a new room because of the problem. Sure enough, when I checked, it wouldn't lock. Maintenance came and fixed it quickly, but why would you put a guest in a room knowing there was a problem like that which hadn't been fixed? The blackout shade in the room also wouldn't lower so there was just a sheer shade, which let in light in the morning so if you were wanting to sleep in, not happening. And while they charge $16 a night for parking, I was told it's "first come, first served" so I guess if it was full they charge you for... what? Location is great and overall it's a nice hotel, but it seems like they have some problems to sort out before it gets 5 star status. And breakfast ends at 9 so I didn't make it in time to find out if it's any good or not!

It's the holidays. No one's expecting Herculean efforts. But don't, upon checkin, assure us a full continental breakfast on Xmas day and then only provide cold cereal, packets of biscuits, and not even coffee. Had I known, I would have gone to the store the day earlier and gotten things, but now everything is closed. Instead, management thought it fit to leave a young professional to deal with disappointed customers and having to answer why there isn't even coffee available. Do better, management.
