Has seen better days. Once my partner complained and we moved rooms, the room was pretty good ie, a recently done up version of the first room we were placed in - a poor trick on the part of the hotel, see if guest will stand it, then move if not. 1st room, too warm (no different to all hotels), but the window was broken and wouldn't open. Poor mattresses. 2nd room, new windows, mattresses and a lick of paint - all rooms should be like that one. Breakfast was very limited and all costs taken out by hotel. Won't be going back.

The stay was great, my son who is 9 he said he will give it 11/10 I think he likes it he said he should stay again when we go to Blackpool but unfortunately we did not used the pool we were looking forward maybe next time. I liked the bath tub and the sea view

Staff we're friendly and helpful quick to reolve any issues raised, Room was basic, photos on site can be deceptive. Some areas of the hotel were very poorly maintained/ corridors. Restaurant for breakfast was basic but adequate. Pool area was great children really enjoyed it.

I checked out early rather than staying a second night even though I couldn't get a refund for the breakfast. The room had a nice view but was kinda spoiled because the window was filthy. The curtain was filthy, which I let them know about but they didn't get it sorted or even apologised. (And it was really bad) The wallpaper was peeling, the bed was like sleeping on a pile of rocks (the springs sticking into me uncomfortably) and there was no sound insulation. Could hear the people in the next room chatting even when they were being quiet so when they were doing karaoke in the middle of the night then having a big argument needless to say I got no sleep. I didn't actually go in the leisure centre. Because I wasn't around at the times it was open.
The curtain in my room actually doesn't look as bad in the photo.

On entry you can tell this has been a top class hotel in its day. The entrances and foyers were clean and tidy. We had a family room for 6 but only 4 of us staying. The room had a massive super king bed, a sofa bed and a folding camp bed, off to the side was a little room with a set of bunk beds that fold out from the wall (these were quite dated and rickety but served its purpose). As there was only 4 of us our teenage daughter used the bottom bunk and had that room to herself and our son used the sofa bed, we put the fold out bed away. The room had a massive TV on the wall with freebies and access to Netflix etc. The wee room also had a tv. The furniture in the room was dated but clean and functional. There was a mini fridge, iron, ironing board and a fan provided in the wardrobe (we needed it as the weather was hot and the room was roasting - probably due to being on the 7th floor) That said being in the 7th floor we had a great view! We loved that the family room for six we stayed in was big enough . It had two televisions a double bed, sofa bed and a bunk bed . My kids were super comfortable and we all had enough room. Although, there is no air conditioning, no cleaning for four nights we stayed which I had no clue about initially. Also the bathroom is pretty small, so make sure to go to the website to look and read about the hotel properly. We enjoyed using the steam room, sauna, gym and the swimming pool but we had to pay £2 person per use even as a resident staying in the hotel.

Vfm, but a what good expect from a Blackpool hote

Everything you weighs expect from a Blackpool hotel. Great views, lovely reception area, clean room. The breakfast reflected the overall condition of the room, a bit tired and in need of attention. It wasn't an unpleasant experience. It is value for money, and the reception area is impressive. The staff were friendly and check in was easy. I still think hotels that charge for parking too their guests lose some welcome, but sadly it's becoming common place. The room itself, like Blackpool on the whole, is a little bit meh.

It was quiet, lots of picturesque views of Blackpool Tower and the promenade and also of the Big One at Pleasure Beach in the distance. The location is ideal as it’s not in the middle of everything going on, staff were very polite and whilst there are facilities like the pool and Sauna etc we didn’t make use of during this stay we would definitely be inclined to make use of them on a future visit!
