Luxury Home Moonlight Basin, Excellent Ski Access

Views, Views, and more Views! Take in both the Spanish Peaks mountain range and Lone Peak Mountain in this luxurious ski-in ski-out cabin. Only a short drive from the Moonlight Lodge, this newly constructed home offers convenience and solitude for that perfect morning cup of coffee on the deck or a relaxing glass of wine in the hot tub.
Silver Peaks 8 is constructed in mountain modern style with clean lines and warm materials. Upon entering the home you get the great sense of space the architect was trying to convey. Open, but cozy and warm to relax and take in the great views that wrap around the home. On the main level of the home you will find the fantastic kitchen boasting granite countertops and stainless appliances. Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace, relax and catch a game on the TV, or play a heated game of cards at the dining room table that seats 8. Step outside onto the spacious deck and read a book to wind down after a fantastic day of activities and enjoy using the brand new Coleman grill.

With all these great amenities and spectacular views we are sure Silver Peaks 8 will be your family's go-to spot for years to come!

--Ski Access--

Ski Out:
Ski directly to the Madison base of the Moonlight ski area via a groomed trail directly outside your door that links up with the Natawista ski run. Follow Natawista through the tunnel under Peaks View Drive to the Madison base area.

Ski In:
From the top of Ironhorse or Six Shooter lifts, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River. From here, either stay left on Cinnabar or go straight on Powder River continuing through the ski tunnel and past the first skier bridge. Take a hard right on Natawista Run. Follow Natawista back over the next two skier bridges to the Silvertip Cabins.

Family Ski Trip

This was the perfect ski in/ski out location for our adult family. The unit was spacious for all of our guests. The kitchen was well appointed and hosted all of our meals. We recommend this house for families.

Perfect Ski Weekend Getaway for Large Group

My friends and I had the most amazing stay at this VRBO. We had a group of 10 that fit very comfortably in the home. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated with a gorgeous view of the Big Sky mountains. The hot tub was an added bonus. This listing is a true ski in ski out, it’s very easy to kickoff the day skiing and pop back to the house for lunch if you’d like during the day. The hosts were also very responsive and were able to deliver missing things like paper towels very promptly! Overall a great stay and would definitely look to stay here again.

Big Sky Family Vacation

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Ascension changed our rental due to an "unforeseen" issue. 10 Silver Star was beautiful, super clean With a well-appointed kitchen. Grateful for comfy beds and all the decaf tea choices. Plenty of room for me and my two kids with their spouses. Great location close to Big Sky. Nothing was open in the resort. Will come back during ski season. No A/C but an open window fixed that. Saw lots of wildlife.

Great Rental!

Friends from all over the U.S. met at Big Sky and stayed at this house for a long ski weekend this past March (2023). The house was perfect, is beautiful, is truly ski-in ski-out (you just have to learn the routes the first time you do it), and has great bed rooms. We used the hot tub, the BBQ, cooked dinner in the kitchen one night. Everything was really great. I would definitely stay here again in either the winter or the summer. The management company was easy to communicate with. It was a pleasure.

Just perfect.

The house was clean and beautiful and the access to ski in ski out was just perfect. The view of the mountains at sunset from hot tub can’t be beat. Boot dryer in garage was the perfect touch. We will be back!
