Our first time staying in a cabin and let’s just say we will definitely be back. From the moment you arrive it feels like home. Whoever designed the interior put a lot of detail in the setup. This is a beautiful 2 bedroom cabin with a living room (stocked with board games ) full restroom with bathtub, washer dryer & full kitchen. Backyard has a jacuzzi and grill which we put to use. Second floor both bedrooms each with two beds, master has a cute balcony with a peaceful scenic view of giant pine trees in every direction. Located in a quiet area with grocery stores and attractions nearby this cabin was perfect getaway for our family of 4 away from the city.

Pros: The cabin itself was beautiful inside. The kitchen was updated, the bathroom was well stocked (towels galore), the bedrooms were good size, and the living room was comfortable. We also loved the hot tub temperature - like a slightly hotter bath. It was nice in the evening. Cons: The lighting throughout needs to be replaced because it still felt dark even with all the lights on, and there were no curtains on the door windows. You can see everything from outside. The description on Expedia listed a washer and dryer as an amenity, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. However, upon arrival and after contacting Expedia, a machine was not available on the property. A pack and play was featured in the photos, something we needed for our toddler, and it was confirmed that one would be provided for our stay. We asked when someone would be out to deliver it since it was already late in the day, and we were told not to worry - it would be handled in a timely manner so our stay would be comfortable. No one showed up to deliver the bed. The biggest issue was the garbage that was left in the front yard from the previous renters. A large trash bag with visible food discards just tossed to the side. We asked where we could dispose of it since we didn't want to attract animals, but were assured it would be promptly taken care of by the property. The bag was still there at checkout three days later - no one showed up the entire stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Moonridge. It was cozy and inviting, and the hot tub was an added bonus after exploring Big Bear for the day. When we arrived, it was a comfortable, clean house, and when we left, it felt like home. I would stay here again.
