My husband and I chose this hotel for its proximity to the Calgary Tower, so the location was excellent. We arrived on Saturday and parked, overnight, across the street in the Calgary Tower parkade … the weekend parking rate was considerably less than hotel parking and was very secure - it’s an indoor walk from the parkade right to street level. Cross one crosswalk and you’re at the hotel. There were plenty of restaurants close by as well. Everything at the hotel was fantastic…. From the front desk check-in to the front desk check out - front desk staff were extremely friendly and efficient!!!! The hotel and our room were exceptionally clean. The room was beautiful and we found the floor plan to be very practical! The king size bed and pillows were super-comfortable. There was a walk-in glass enclosed shower with a rain showerhead as well as an individual, handheld showerhead … and there was a separate, private toilet area. Two, very comfortable, bathrobes were also provided. We were there for a single (Saturday) night stay. For those staying for a longer period of time … there was (beyond) ample space in the bathroom for your personal items. There was a walk-in closet with drawers and hangers for your wardrobe, room to store your luggage and an umbrella was included in the closet.. We would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s great for couples - it’s family friendly - and great for those working in the downtown sector.

Room was clean. Outdated outlets in the room meant you had to bring a block but other than that the room was nice and quite elegant. Hotel staff were great. Breakfast was yummy but only one waitress with a very busy crowd meant long waits. Valet was super sweet and offered excellent service.

The room was very good. However, the parking situation was chaos due to the construction around the hotel. We chose to use valet parking at an exorbitant price of $50 a night, as we were exhausted after a 10 hour flight and the last thing we needed was to try to deal with parking our car. Normally we would park our own car in the underground parking.
