Maison Carlene was built in 1902 and is registered on the National Register of Historic Places. This thoughtfully updated home is one block from the beach, two blocks from the Depot District and less than a 10-minute walk to Beach Boulevard's restaurants, bars, and shops. You can even take the train from New Orleans or Mobile and walk just five minutes to your home away from home. Ample off-street parking is available on the property for your vehicles and small boats, making arrivals and day trips easy.

Inside, the home comfortably sleeps families and groups with one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, two twin beds, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The primary bath features a walk-in shower and a classic clawfoot tub for mom or the little ones, while the second bathroom offers a large walk-in shower—perfect for busy mornings or rinsing off after the beach.

Absolutely incredible. Pictures don’t do it justice. Just a few feet away from the ocean, restaurants, a beer garden, and really cool downtown areas. Would be perfect for a family or just friends catching up. Will be back very soon. My only hesitation in reviewing is that I want this place to remain under the radar! 10/10 stay. Well done!
