We have stayed at this property several times. The rooms are updated however, they need a deep cleaning. On our last stay we booked through Expedia as I have for years booking flights and hotels for more than 1000 employees as they travel. We never have an issue.
We went to check our employees in and it was no issue and all of a sudden they didn’t have any rooms. The two gentleman that work for us are Hispanic and when they saw them they were suddenly out of rooms. I reached out to Expedia, the hotel claims they had a glitch and that it’s Expedias fault. It’s NOT Expedia. It’s the hotel. Ultimately, we were able to sort it out. I honestly feel like it was a case of discrimination.
Our employees are mostly Hispanic, highly educated and hard working. No reason for this type of behavior. I did not want imbarrass my employees so I chose not to approach it with them there.
