the room was awful! in need of a complete refurb and deep clean! we had booked for two nights but moved on to a different hotel for the second as it was so bad. we were in the area for a funeral so really didn't need the aggravation. The whole place is shabby and that's being polite! would never go again.

Cruising from Tilbury so looking to drive up from Bristol the day before and find a nearby B&B. Found the Campanile on Expedia based on price and distance. Read the reviews and thought "How bad can it be?" Well - not bad at all! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room for the night and extremely comfortable bed. Close to dual carriageway but we didn't notice any traffic noise. Evening meal a bit "ready-meal" but a great breakfast and late check-out if you want it. Will definitely stay again if sailing from Tilbury.

Celebrated the last Campanile in the UK. Recently been refurbished, clean and just what a person needs for a one night stop over. It aint the Ritz but the staff were welcoming, the place tidy and clean.
