This is a great place! Very convenient, right on the Rambla and across the street from the oldest market in Barcelona! In the heart of the Gothic area -- restaurants, cafes, shopping and attractions are all around. Close to the Barcelona Cathedral. We walked everywhere including Parc Guell and Monjuic. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Our room was spacious, clean, lots of lights, and we liked the colored lights in the bathroom! There is an elevator, but we didn't use it, choosing to go up and down the stairway.

I had to book this hotel very last minute because my flight was canceled. Overall, the stay was okay, the rooms were decent and clean. However, the Wi-Fi didn’t work on the first day due to technical issues, which was inconvenient. The biggest problem was the air conditioning in the bedroom: it was extremely noisy, especially when the fan was on the highest setting, and it often made it hard to fall asleep. For a short stay, it’s manageable, but if you’re not expecting to be stuck there, it’s not the most comfortable option.

This place is not how it looks like in the pictures, however, the staff are super nice. There is a lot of noise from outside because it’s right in front of the popular areas. The place is not bad but it’s in a complex where it’s shared with other tenants if that makes sense. The room that I got was nice and clean so was the restroom very modern looking. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re just staying a couple of nights and seeking just a quick place to crash. But if you’re looking into staying in and enjoying the view with breakfast etc this is not it. There is absolutely no parking nearby. I used taxis

don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at Hostal BCN Ramblas was truly disappointing and misleading from start to finish. The room looked nothing like the photos dark, outdated, and not what was advertise. The bathroom had see-through glass walls, which made privacy impossible. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and to top it off, the receptionist was rude and unwelcoming at check-in. The location is good, but that’s the only real positive. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Small and no hot water

The location is right infront La Borqueria and metro which was great, BUT the hotel its self was not. The elevator was super small, only 1 person and a small luggage/backpack can fit. The stairs are so narrow and you need to climb a few flights of stairs up to the entrance. There was no hot water to shower in the mornings. Heard a lot of people in the hallway complain about it from my room, so the rooms are not soundproof.
