Hotel itself and staff super nice and helpful, fantastic breakfast prepared with fresh, local ingredients right in front of you. Although surrounding areas not too clean, some homeless people sleep on the ground, some asking for money, however we never had any trouble from them.

Andante exceeded expectations on all levels. It was incredibly clean, rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and housekeeping visited every single day. The facilities were great with a small gym, a restaurant on site and the rooftop pool is a nice place to relax and even the courtyard has lots of seatings. The lobby area is nice with vending machines. The storage room to hold luggage has a great secure system. The hotel itself is absolutely secure with staff always present in the lobby and very helpful. It is closely located to the Ramblas, and the hotel itself is adjacent to a restaurant and also a supermarket. There are lots of shops nearby, as well as a police station. Overall, I booked this hotel because of its competitive price but wasn’t sure how good it would be. However I am very impressed and extremely pleased with my decision to have booked Andante hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel and will without doubt always return here whenever in Barcelona. A very positive experience.

Great hotel for solo travelers! The hotel is secure with access to the building via keycard/doorbell if your checking in. Staff at the desk 24/7 and easily reached by phone. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast in the mornings is delicious, if you don't opt in originally, they will just charge you the day you need it. Absolutely loved my stay!

The hotel is great, although I would have appreciated on check in to be reminded that breakfast wasn’t included as I didn’t realise, the breakfast wasn’t great particularly the cooked option. The pastries, coffee, fruit and bread were great but the cooked option was just things like chips, courgettes, peppers. It would have been great to have some egg options such as fried , poached , scrambled or omlettes to make it worth paying for at the end of our stay. The roof pool is fab as is the roof bar… although the bar wasn’t open on the Sunday of our stay, which was a shame. I visited with my young son and the area around the hotel didn’t feel very safe there were groups of homeless drunk people on the corner of the hotel who we had to walk past which felt intimidating. Overall the hotel is good but I feel that it was over priced at around £600 for 3 nights.

Steps away (a few blocks) to Les Rambles a vibrant tree lined street of shops with a huge out door market not a far walk. The hotel was spotless clean, new and modern. I wish I would still need longer to take more advantage of the energy such as the rooftop pool, the gym, and me breakfast restaurant. I’ll stay there again the next time I’m in Barcelona.
