The first put me in a windowless room for 500 dollars a day Expedia never described that this room would be windowless and so small and then when I told them I need a room with the window, they charged me $200 more

The Gallery is a clean and quiet; however, they provide few amenities in the rooms or extra's of any kind. Breakfast would have been 20 euros/person added on if chosen. We walked to a Starbucks instead. The furniture in the rooms and lobby is extremely dated and unattractive. The rooms are very utilitarian with 1 hard chair and a metal folding table as a desk. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom had 2 small and 2 bath towels only, no wash cloths, no bar/face soap, only liquid body soap. They did not provide any of the usual amenities, perhaps extra (?) such as q-tips, make up pads, emery boards, etc. considering we were traveling and brought limited things, it was an unpleasant experience. The Gallery Hotel was well over 800 euros/nite and definitely not at all worth the cost, it was very disappointing, considering we chose to spend extra thinking it would be something special. We do not recommend this hotel.

In the last year I've visiting Barcelona 5 times. This is the property we book first. Love the large rooms, friendly service, great breakfast and most importantly the location and the quiteness of the rooms. The beds are huge and comfortable, the towels and toiletries are good - this is our place to stay now. Also if you don't want bfast there there's a great coffee shop across the street. So easy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gallery Hotel. The area surrounding the hotel was convenient to everything and it was very quiet. The staff at the hotel was very pleasant and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early since our flight arrived at 9a which helped a lot. The wall room was kind of thin but the neighbors weren’t too nosey so we didn’t mind. The rooftop bar is closed due to the cold season but we were able to order drinks from the restaurant in the hotel with no problem. Would definitely recommend.
