Amazing hotel! It was close to cruise terminal and walking distance to many attractions and great dining options. Our room was spacious it had a balcony, in room safe, and nice bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, definitely recommend to try. We will come back to stay here again.

We Loved our stay here. The staff was amazing, and the breakfast is rated 2nd in all of Barcelona! Be sure to get the breakfast! The location is perfect for exploring the Gothic District, and is just a block off of Las Ramblas. It’s perfect if you are cruising out of. Barcelona.

We loved this hotel

The location is perfect in the heart of the very charming gothic quarter, right next to a small grocery store, and a 5 minute walk to the subway. The service and friendliness of the staff is 5 star awesome. The beds were super comfortable. The price was more than fair. The only negative thing is that the window looks out into a walled courtyard with a skylight, so there is no direct daylight or view of the outside. But this is Barcelona-you’re out and about all day anyway and the room stays nice and dark while you sleep.

I would like to clarify my rating for the staff. For the most part, the staff was very polite and helpful. The one exception being the desk clerk on the evening of March 22. What started as a casual conversation took a sudden turn when the clerk declared he knew more about the United States than Americans. After allowing this comment to pass several times, I said that many Americans are well-informed about their own country. At this point, he began quizing me with questions about American history but not giving time to respond before asking the next question. He then said, "see I lived in the U.S. for 5 years and know more about America than you." He became so belligerent, that the bellhop took him by the arm and led him back to his desk. The bellhop returned and apologized profusely. We then had a cordial chat with the bellhop. In 39 years of international travel, I have never met a ruder or more aggressive hotel staff member. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Such a wonderful property! Location perfect and the staff was professional, kind, and helpful. We reserved a room with a balcony and so happy we did! Excellent personnel including the front desk, the cleaning staff and Marina our breakfast server who always remembered that I drank green tea. The amenities were lovely including candy at the front desk, bathrobes and slippers. The Staff at Catalonia Port was so Friendly and helpful. I broke my ankle while I was there and they made sure I had everything I needed. Room service and transportation was so helpful.

Great hotel for a few days in Barcelona. Near the water as welll as the main shopping area. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Front staff really went over and beyond with cab reservations for our large group!
