We’ve stayed at Mac Rae twice now and I can say every single time has been very enjoyable super close to the ferry drop off! Daniel is great he’s helped us both times we’ve been there and will definitely be returning!

Loved it! The front desk receptionist who checked us in was amazing, he gave us many recommendations and greeted us each time we walked into the hotel! Although the room was older, it was VERY clean, quiet and comfortable. Location was perfect! My only critique is the wifi really didn’t work most of our stay and the TV was very small with cable that would frequently disconnect. Overall, would absolutely stay here again!

Hotel was very quiet, it was the off season. My wife and I began to have electrical problems our 1st night. We were told when we checked in to use a small space heater since the room HVAC was not working. This space heater started tripping the circuit breakers for our room. It was very cold and we did not know this had happened. It was eventually fixed, but left not so good thoughts about the hotel.

Would recommend!

Booked a room here for the Avalon 50 mile run. We probably have stayed at a majority of hotels in the island. This was the best value so far. Sort of like staying within a little community. The staff was very good.
