Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
This was honestly one of the worst VRBO experiences I’ve ever had. The host was not accommodating, welcoming, or professional. From the moment I booked, the communication was filled with warnings about fees, fines, penalties, and extra charges. Before I even checked in, I felt like I was being threatened with charges instead of welcomed as a guest.To make matters worse, the property was not as clean as expected. The walls throughout the home were noticeably dirty, and the bed sheets did not appear fresh or properly cleaned. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a rental property, and this home fell short.The host’s communication came across as rude and overly focused on finding reasons to charge guests rather than providing a positive experience. Every interaction seemed centered around rules, fines, and checkout penalties instead of hospitality.I fully understand the need for house rules, but there is a difference between informing guests and making them feel uncomfortable throughout their stay. Between the condition of the property and the host’s unprofessional communication, I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property to others.
