Wedding Retreat

Quittie Glen is the perfect place to enjoy family, relax, and just get away. Jeff was the perfect host and was in contact with us at a moments notice. The property is amazing and offers everything and anything you could imagine. We spent the majority of our time in the lodge which was perfect for all. Thank you Jeff. We had a fabulous stay at Quittie Glen, the rooms were clean, the grounds are beautiful and the hosts were very attentive and courteous to make sure everything should be to our liking. Great experience overall!

Place is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!!!

A few of the kids and dad’s on our travel baseball team stayed here. The games and the tournament were a far out afterthought compared to the fun and memories we made at the house!! The size of the property is amazing, there is so much to do, this one definitely pushed well over the scales for all of us!… we all can’t wait to set up another getaway here soon!

Quittie Glen was an excellent location for our extended family of 22 to celebrate Christmas together. The bedrooms were very comfortable and and we really enjoyed the Lodge. It was the perfect space for family meals, playing games and hanging out together.

We were a family of eighteen adults and seven children who meet from all over the country for thanksgiving. This was a perfect setting. The lodge is huge and comfortable. They were games for the kids and adults.. The cabins had rooms for everyone to sleep comfortably. The grounds were pretty.

Family reunion

For our tall family (5 men well over 6 ft) the dearth of king size beds was a bit inconvenient. We loved having the lodge separate from the cabins. We were a bit suspicious of the cleanliness of the lodge carpeting where little ones played on the floor. It was well vacuumed but stained in spots and the dark color was obviously chosen to conceal dirt. Not sure how this problem could have been avoided. Family loved the pool and basketball court. Proximity to Hershey Park a big plus. As comfortable a stay as possible for 21 people.

Perfect for our extended family of 16

Quittie Glen was a fantastic fit for our large family gathering. The properties are well cared-for, the two residential houses are lovely and comfortable, everyone loved the pool area, we enjoyed the light hiking around the property, and the main Lodge is highly functional and filled with things to do. We had a couple rainy days with several kids stuck inside all day, and no one was bored! The area is often overlooked on the national stage, and that was to our advantage. Hersheypark is a great day or two of fun, not super-crowded, and only about 20 minutes away. Just 5 minutes away is a small town center with pizza, antiques, shops, etc. And yes it can get hot and humid, but if you're prepared you'll be fine. The real stand-out, though, was the detailed attention to service. The management and concierge services went above and beyond to meet some special needs in our group, and after "putting them to the test" we are confident they mean it when they say they will do what it takes to make our stay memorable and comfortable. So we highly recommend this place! One note - there is a significant hill between the residences (where we slept) and the lodge (where we spent most of our time indoors). If you have someone with mobility issues you'll need to come up with a plan. For us, the solution was to just drive back and forth, and that worked out fine. There is more than ample parking, and driving around the property is not a problem at all.

The houses and lodge are all clean, welcoming, and well stocked with all amenities noted. Our whole family (25 adults, children, and some babies ) enjoyed the lodge and pool facilities greatly. A very enjoyable week on a great estate.

Summer Family Get-together

We were extremely pleased with this property. It is very spacious with lots of bedrooms and areas to gather in small or large groups. Everything is very well stocked. The kitchens and baths are all very modern. There was lots for everyone to do. The pool got lots of use, especially by all the kids. Management was very responsive. We are planning another stay here next summer.

Excellent vacation setting for multi-generational family

Quittie Glen was the perfect spot for our multigenerational family. The two nearby houses were spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful pool and at the huge lodge and dining area. The kids were kept busy with hikes on the property and making s’mores in the fire pits, one of which was in an amazing natural grotto. We could have easily spent the entire time within the estate; however it was minutes away from a quaint town and large grocery store, and Hershey Park was close by. I especially appreciated having a private vacation place during Covid. The manager and owner were very responsive to any requests or suggestions.

Beautiful Property

No complaints…everything was perfect. There were 23 of us…our accommodations were comfortable. The gourmet kitchen was amazing. With 2 chefs in our group, we had wonderful meals and the Lodge had more than enough seating so we could all eat together. You were only a few minutes from Hershey and less than an hour from Lancaster, Gettysburg , and many other tourist attractions. The pool was wonderful and refreshing. We would love to come back again.

Terrific Week

Our family could not stop talking about how fantastic the accommodations and setting was for our vacation this year. Roomy, comfortable, fully stocked (like no other place we've ever stayed before), wonderful pool, quiet, peaceful and so much exploring to do right on the property. Location was great for nearby attractions as well. Both Jeff and Sarah were wonderful to work with as well.

Quiet and Secluded

The property was as advertised. The lodge building is a great place to gather. The lodge kitchen is great although a 2nd sink would have helped. The pool table and shuffleboard in the lodge was terrific, the latter of which was fun for tje 3 and 5 year old. The cabins are comfortable with plenty of sleeping accommodations. Overall cleanliness could improve. Refrigerators had spills, old food smells. Furniture has not been vacuumed or cleaned in a very long time. Most TVs in Cabin 1 didn’t work. Otherwise I would have given a 5 rating. Sarah, the property manager, was outstanding, courteous and attentive. One common statement by all adults in our party was no having an electronic entry gate. Having to get out of the car each time you leave and return was inconvenient. This is a great place for a family gathering, reunion, retreat and the like. Note however that it is quite expensive to rent and there are allot of rules of do’s and don’t and sound sensors every where. My 5 & 3 year old grandsons were told to be quiet by a neighbor because they were talking too loud by the duck pond.

Perfect Getaway to Relax and Enjoy Outdoors

Our group of 16+ adult women enjoyed our long weekend escape to Quittie Glen. The cabins were great to accommodate all of us comfortably - giving privacy when needed and allowing multiple areas for different group activities. The grounds were wonderful to explore and the pool was heated and wonderful despite the overcast and sometimes chilly spring weather. The lodge kitchen was wonderful for our cooking (everything we needed) and was more than enough space for us all to dine together. We enjoyed quality time with good food, laughter and quality time together. The only negative was the Jura coffee machine wasn't great - though we are a tough group when it comes to coffee. Bring your own beans if you like strong coffee! If that's the only complaint - clearly Quittie Glen is wonderful.

Superb!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Quittie Glen. Our favorites were the massage chair, the geese by the ponds who were sitting on their nests, and the large gathering space for family meals. We will definitely consider using it for another extended family event.

Unbelievable!

This property and amenities were all my group could have asked for and more. I couldn't recommend this property enough. We had an absolute blast and Quitte Glen was even better than advertised.

What an amazing place to share a gathering!

From the amazing entry, we knew we were at a place we would never forget. Each turn of the wooded path held a new surpise. We were able to dine, spend time together and just relax in this "Wooded Haven". This will be a place we all talk of FOVERVER! Any issues were handled quickly and with SO MUCH attention! Thank you for having our family! We love this place!

Cabins 1 & 2 were infested with insects coming out of all ductwork. Overall grounds are beautiful.
