Stayed here 11 years ago with my mum and opted to stay here with hubby after our river cruise. The hotel has had a make over and looked wonderful. Our room had a lovely view over the canal. It was very comfortable and spacious. Bathroom had everything supplied. Nice hot water and good water pressure. The staff were lovely and helpful. What I really like about this hotel is that it is walking distance to museums, markets, shops, cafes, restaurants and the subway. We even walked from central station through the streets admiring the architecture. This took about 40 minutes but well worth it! Would happily stay again.

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at Avani Hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly relaxing getaway where all comforts have been thought of. The location is great, as are the views and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff at the Avani always go out of their way to ensure your stay is not only fantastic. But memorable. Always ensuring if anything is needed you are taken care of. The area is fantastic and would highly recommend anyone travelling to Amsterdam to stay at the Avani.

The breakfast was an amazing experience, starting with a fresh veggie juice, coffee, and great selection of local breakfast dishes. They offer cooked to order breakfast plates as well as buffet plates. The room was spacious, featuring a great view of the painteresque canal. Stayed for one night for a layover.

Dutch Treat

Really the perfect hotel for the museum tour, in easy walking distance to all of them. The canal is lovely and quiet, tons of busy restaurants in a 4-5 block radius, lively night-life, friendly, busy, fun. Lobby recently renovated and very enjoyable with a view of the canal -- the breakfast service is superlative. What's not to love? If you stay, book a panoramic room, you won't be disappointed.
