The beautiful Ingram Valley in Northumberland teeming with wildlife is the ideal spot for a romantic retreat. Walk for miles without seeing another soul. Just 2 miles across the fells from the idyllic Cuckoo Cottage is Linhope Spout, an impressive waterfall. Cuckoo Cottage is a recently renovated barn conversion situated on a working sheep farm spanning 1,800 acres. The nearby town of Wooler has pubs, shops and cafe’s.

Peace and comfort in a beautiful natural environment

Cuckoo cottage is set in a superb isolated environment with views for miles across the Northumberland hills punctuated by the flight and cries of swallows, and curlews, yet accessible to roads which lead one to the fantastic natural resources of the county. It is a wonderfully peaceful comfortable home to return to after a day’s walking and exploring and the owners show concern for all one’s needs whilst appreciating one’s privacy - an excellent rental!
