Pros: Great value for money, nice and clean
Cons: Some of the staff could be a little friendlier. There were two serving who made it feel like a chore to serve customers

Why Not ?

Pros: See above
Cons: Put a muffler on the loud refrigerator for the hotel.(I was in 108, not far enough away).
Location: Only walking distance to major shops and Mall for anything you require.
I was there for 4 nights, to attend my daughter's 40th. I am from the Hunter region and am 72. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, especially when I locked my car keys in the car. Then locked my room key in the room (not on the same day). This is the 4th time I have stayed at the ASTOR and have found that it is very economical; it really is like home away from home. I ate all my dinners there and it was great.

Convenient, efficient, value for money.

Not the Habging gardens of Babylon or the Sydney Opera House, but what did you expect?! Efficient and value for money perfect for an overnight stopover. Thanks

A good place to make camp when having a stay.

Pros: Food, location and friendly staff.
Cons: fix the air conditioners and electric blankets.
Location: Central to all Albury and my mates pub.
Had a lot of fun with the rooms under renovation like water through the lights etc and the air conditioning working properly, but all told I would stay there again. The food was great in the bistro.

Not good

Overall not good. beds were uncomfortable and lumpy. No plates in the room, small side plates do not qualify as Plates. Motel does not have the facility rent a microwave. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

budget accommodation

Pros: Handy location.
Cons: Machinery noises from the hotel at night.
Location: Handy location, easy walking distance to the main street restaurants
Spent the night on our way to Melbourne. The room is basic, clean and comfortable. There was a gentle hum of traffic but we were too tired to be kept awake. The Bistro is good value although it was closed for Anzac Day.
