The property was clean and the shower and location were nice, but overall the stay was disappointing. Communication with the host was poor — I reached out multiple times before arrival and only got a short reply on the day we checked in. The listing advertised a hot tub that wasn’t there and also did not mention that the unit is part of a shared duplex, which made it noisy. The bedding (polyester sheets and cheap pillows) was uncomfortable, the TV kept crashing, several lights didn’t work, and there were bug poison devices placed throughout. The unit shares a (seemingly very thin) wall (and inside door connecting the units?) with a tenant, and their noise (voices, moving around, running laundry) carried into the bedroom. We felt like we had to be extra quiet so as not to disturb them. Clean, yes — but far from the quality you’d expect for the cost. For the price we paid, we could have stayed in a very nice hotel with none of the hassle we experienced here. It was a last minute booking for us and I really wanted to be in Nob Hill (other places were already booked) so that was on me. Oh well, lesson learned!
