It is twice now I booked a motel room and yet it somehow transferred on different dates and when I went to those motels in separate weekends to stay, they informed me my booking was on different dates! I was nearly out of a place to stay! This is a unreliable service and now I have lost money because I copped the cancellation fees and price hike to stay the night I wanted to which I should of been in the first place when I booked on line. I was told by both motel owners this is not uncommon and they have had the same hassles with other poor clients nearly having nowhere to stay! I am done now! I will be finding a new service and after watching current affairs tonight. I support Harvey Norman with these over seas rip off joints. I was a long time user for Wotif, but now my friends and family won’t be using this service now as well. It’s a good thing with media to show how people get conned in to dates that they can’t commit to and not the dates they intentionally booked! Goodbye WOTIF and Expenditure! I will book directly through motels now!! 🙂

1/ We’ve made two recent bookings with Wotif. This survey doesn’t identify which of the two bookings it wants feedback for, it just provides a reference that doesn’t link you to your original cooking.

2/ During our most recent hotel booking for Japan, whilst filling out the comment box for one of the rooms booked – we hit enter to go to the next line and the booking just went through with payment without providing us the opportunity to fill out the other comment box for the second room booked in addition to checking/confirming the details of the entire booking! Massive fail considering we’re not supposed to be able to change anything once booked.

easy to navigate. Was made aware of a problem with credit card and a warning about sharing info on the card on line. So I thought that was good. I contacted the hotel as suggested and solved the problem.

Change the booking from 1 night to 2 but after completing the payment I noticed it was only One night, so had to book the 2nd night direct with the motel.
