We booked our room after a disappointment at another location, and loved our stay. Staff were very helpful. There's great food from the many restaurants, and the spa on-site is excellent (though expensive).

Location - Location - Location!! And not just the in-house facilities. Galle and the ancient fort are well worth exploring, great places to eat drink and be merry as well as just stating at the Lighthouse and soaking up the pleasure of all that is on offer. The 2004 tsunamia has left its mark in the area but has not destroyed the calm luxury of the Lighthouse. Highly recommended.
